The TV cooking goddess is well known for her unusual food combos.
But the 64-year-old had admitted she likes to pair a chicken salad with a bean salad on the side.
Some fans were left baffled by doubling up on it.
But others thought the healthy duo sounded delicious including TV funnyman Alan Carr.

Nigella plugged the combination and said: “I’m Nigella and this is my chicken salad with Mexican flavours.
“One avocado halves and an obvious pairing for the avocados is some lime juice.
“Garlic, salt, soured cream, blend it, and now for the salad, get the lettuce in first, chopped salad, onions, coriander.
“A Granny Smith cut into matchsticks and on top of this symphony of green is the chicken which I am now going to turn green again.

“Toss everything together.
“I do love to serve it with a black bean salsa
“Or as I like to think, like the chicken salad has its own side salad.”

John Lewis joked: “Strange combo but I will try it.”
Benjamin Dreyer added: “Oh wow.”
John Gregory-Smith gushed: “Yummy, she has the culinary queen does it again.”
Sonia Aubineau added: “This must be very good, I’m going to give it a try.
“Thank you Nigella.”
One named Mel said: “Very disappointed, I was expecting ‘avoca-day’.”
Comedian Carr liked her social media post.
The double salad costs £22.72, feeds four people and takes 15 minutes to make.
Last month, Nigella admitted she liked to eat oysters and chips, as reported on What’s The Jam
She has previously put caramel on potatoes and marmite on spaghetti.
In 2020, she was ridiculed for calling a ‘microwave’ a ‘mee-cro-wah-vay’.
