A cheeky possum was caught red-handed stealing a box of cookies from a family’s porch.
The dad, who works as a doctor, ordered the Tiff’s Treats biscuits to be delivered for his son’s 15th birthday.
But when they opened up the package the cookies had gone.
When they checked the CCTV to see where they’d gone to, they spotted the furry thief.

It happened in Southlake, near Dallas, Texas, US.
The Southlake Department of Public Safety recommended that locals put up security cameras outside their homes.
A spokesperson said: “When you leave out deliveries for a while, you always risk the chance that a sneaky porch pirate might waltz up to your door and gank your stuff.
“Often, the thief is human.

“But once in a while, a different sort of greedy little poacher comes by.
Local, Jenilee said: “I find it highly impossumble (sic) that they’d do this. They were framed.”
Michelle added: “One lucky possum.

“The possum was like ‘Well happy birthday to me’,” Steff said
