A woman has shared the shocking moment she found herself trapped in her flat due to a ‘sewage’ flood in her building.
Arianna Esther is a marketing consultant who lives in a stunning high-rise home.
While getting ready for a night out with friends recently, the 23-year-old was shocked to come downstairs to find the stairs flooded with mucky water – leaving her unable to get out.

She shared the bizarre experience to TikTok, where it has racked up over 466,000 views.
“We didn’t find out about the flooding until the evacuation alarm went off and we tried to go down the stairwell,” Arianna told What’s The Jam.

“Only to find that the stairs were flooded with sewage.
“The building has previously been flooded with it due to a blockage.
“They claim it wasn’t that this time, but the smell and appearance suggested otherwise!”

Arianna claims she and her mates had to ditch their night on the town and remain in her flat for 12 hours “without electricity and hot water”.
But she still considers herself “lucky” that the dirty water didn’t reach her home.
She said: “It affected the bottom five floors.

“We were only stuck for about 12 hours in our apartment however it was without electricity and hot water, so it did make us feel pretty helpless.”
In the video shared online, Arianna, from Melbourne, Australia, can be seen walking down a stairwell in a long, floral dress, heels and a gold bag.
The dirty water can be seen pooled up at the bottom of the stairs.
“Inner city living is not for the weak,” she captioned the post.
The video has over 19,000 likes and plenty of comments.
Melody said: “It’s giving Titanic.”

Keery joked: “I would be ordering Uber helicopter at this point.”

Jade added: “I would be regretting not buying those rain boots.”

Someone else said: “Get bin bags and wear them like a potato sack.”
The problem has now been fixed but Arianna says she is looking at moving out of the apartment block.
