A mechanic has been spotted working on the engine of a moving pickup truck on a busy motorway.
A stunned motorist saw the truck travelling along the highway with the bonnet raised.
The truck driver is seen hanging out of his window to see in front of him due to the bonnet blocking his view.
As the cameraperson overtakes the pickup truck, the mechanic is seen tinkering with the vehicle’s motor while crouched under the hood.
He kneels on the front of the engine with the bonnet resting on his back.
The cameraman is heard laughing with a pal as the clip comes to an end.
The bizarre scene took place on Fundadores Boulevard in Saltillo City near Monterrey in Mexico on Tuesday (14 Jan), as reported by What’s The Jam.
One local said: “F*cking idiots.”
Another added: “A firm hand is urgently needed for road issues like this, it should not be tolerated.”
Ricardo asked: “Why is there no police presence in Saltillo? That’s why everyone does what they want.”
Leo joked: “‘I can hear a strange noise in my truck, but only when I’m driving. Mechanic: ‘No need to say any more’.”
It’s unclear if the local authorities are looking into the matter.
