A man was left stunned after finding what appears the ‘face of John Lennon’ in a tree.
Ben Tucci spotted the legendary singer “peeping out” at him on a birch tree.
Being a die-hard fan of The Beatles, he immediately made the connection with Lennon, finding the tree shape seemed to show his head, hair and glasses.
The 67-year-old – who says he has previously been likened to Paul McCartney himself – stumbled upon it while walking past the HTO park at Queens Quay Harbourfront in Toronto, Canada.

“The image jumped out at me at the time,” Ben told What’sTheJam.
“In my mind, the image shows John’s complete profile – head, hair, mouth, jawline and, the trademark round specs.

“As a collector of vinyl and all things The Beatles and lover of their music, it was overwhelming that I would see this image.
“I rate John as one of the greatest voices in music so needless to say I was delighted to spot it, and as a photography buff, had to capture the moment in some photos.

“As a guy who’s been told for 50 years that I look like Sir Paul McCartney, that additional twist to the story wasn’t lost on me.”
Ben, who lives in Dunnville, Ontario, added: “As soon as I saw it, I knew it was a special message.
“I thought of Lennon and the ‘Imagine’ video where he’s behind the piano playing and singing the tune.

“The capture is very special for me given I rate John Lennon as my number one all-time music talent.
“I think he’s one of the greatest voices in rock ‘n’ roll.
“He was the leader of my all-time favourite band but he wasn’t just a musician, he was a peace activist.
“He had his own personal issues, like we all do, but I respect the fact that he wasn’t just a capitalist capitalising on his talent, making money.
“He actually believed in solutions for the world.
“Quite frankly I feel that if he was alive today much of what we’re seeing happening around the world may not be happening.”
Ben previously made headlines after spotting a terrifying figure of the ‘Grim Reaper’ made of ice outside his home.
The creepy ice formation first appeared outside his house on Lake Erie two years ago, before making a reappearance last month.
The figure was formed, he believes, by water from the lake’s waves falling over the lamp post outside his home, and freezing to create the haunting shapes.
