Lidl is now selling new plonk flavoured ice cream.
Amid the long awaited heatwave, the budget supermarket chain has released new summer treats.
But among the quirky flavours is ice cream that tastes of red wine.
Others include watermelon and blood orange flavoured tubs.
The new release follows a rising trend in ice cream flavours like vanilla being left behind for fresh flavours.

In the past month Google searches for outlandish ice cream flavours including avocado and pesto have increased by 82% and 100% respectively, as reported by What’s The Jam.
They are being sold for just £1.29 per tub.
With research showing Gen Z are more likely than any other age group to taste trendy foods such as charcoal ice cream.
The tub of Red Wine Swirl ice cream is made from a blend of red wine-flavoured sorbet and vanilla ice cream.
Striking the perfect balance between an after-dinner treat and sundowner snack.
The Watermelon Swirl tub comes with a creamy honeydew melon flavour sauce.
Finally the Bon Gelati Melonnice Watermelon lollies retailing for £2.29, feature bursts of sweetness, chocolate pieces with a zingy apple green flavour at the bottom of the lolly.
A Lidl spokesperson said: “Never one to miss the scoop on what customers are coveting, Lidl has unveiled a range of delicious new ice cream flavours as part of its Sol Y Mar selection.
