Want to own a true piece of Christmas history? Now is your chance.

The outfit – which consists of Kevin’s beige coat, festive hat, mittens, and red scarf – can be seen in countless classic scenes, including when the eight-year-old attempts to explain why he is shopping alone.
It is also worn by actor Macaulay Culkin when he famously says: “This is my house, I have to defend it,” as reported by What’s The Jam.
The four-piece look is being sold by Heritage Auctions with the current bid standing at $24,000 (approx £18,900).
“The tan ‘Pacific Trail’ brand heavy coat features a zippered hood with green and red plaid lining, with ‘Photo’ written on the internal label,” an extract of the description reads.
“The blue and red mitten feature ‘BGOSH’ in yellow lettering.
“The 52″ x 7.75″ red knit scarf retains fringed tassels at either end.
“The instantly recognisable beige and red knit snow cap features a red and beige yarn pom pom, red fair-isle moose and trees design, festive red trim on top and bottom, and measures approx. 9.5″ high with pom pom.”
The auction added: “All pieces exhibit slight production wear and handling.”
But be quick – the auction ends in just 24 hours.
