Footage has captured the incredible moment a horse was saved after falling into a deep pit.
The animal’s rescue has gathered 86m views across several social media posts, with viewers very invested in its safety.
The young mare fell into the landslide-made hole while crossing fields.

Passersby soon spotted the struggling mammal and rushed to its aid.
But they soon realised they couldn’t do it alone, with the muddy ground far too loose.
Firefighters were called to the scene, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The brigade arrived to find the animal in a two-metre-deep pit with its legs trapped.
They started by getting into the hole with the horse and scooping mud around its body with their bare hands so that it had enough room to breathe.

Then the team brought in tools to scoop away further dirt.
With the use of ropes, they were eventually able to lift the horse out of the pit.
The animal struggles to balance on her back legs as people rush over to assist.

Soon enough, the horse recovers and shakes the mud off from its body.
Max said: “I’ve got so many questions.”

The moment was captured on 16 November 2024 in La Grita, Venezuela.
It has been reported that the animal was sent to an equine veterinarian to be examined.
Despite the nasty fall, she was luckily found to not have any injuries.
