A hero chihuahua saved its owner’s life after he fell 26 feet into a crevasse on an icy mountain.
The pair was hiking on a snowy glacier when the man plunged through a snow bridge.
But his faithful pet pooch remained at the edge the whole time.

Luckily, the man had a walkie-talkie with him and was able to raise the alarm.
His emergency call was picked up by a nearby hiker, but they were unable to determine the exact location.
The person was able to report the distress call to the Air Zermatt helicopter rescue team.
A crew of three rescue specialists headed for Fee Glacier, a three-mile-long glacier in the Pennine Alps in southern Switzerland, at around 3 pm on Friday (4 Jul).
The search proved difficult as the crack was barely visible from the air, as reported by What’s The Jam.
But one rescuer noticed tiny movements on the ice, a yapping chihuahua looking up at them.
Directly next to the little animal was the crevasse where its owner had fallen.
Thanks to the dog’s behaviour, the crew was able to pinpoint the victim’s exact location.
Rescuers abseiled down to the injured man and were able to airlift him onboard the chopper.
The injured man and his hero pooch were then flown to a hospital in Visp.
An Air Zermatt spokesperson said: “The little dog remained stationary throughout the entire operation and closely followed every movement of our rescue specialists.
“It can be rightly said that its behaviour hugely contributed to the successful rescue.
“The dog is a four-legged hero who probably saved its owner’s life in a life-threatening situation.”
