The lioness looked at the pair through their closed windows.
It then hopped on its hind legs and rested its paws on the back of the pickup truck.
It eyed the cameraperson before deciding to jump into the back of the truck.
The fearsome animal continued to sniff the windows, apparently looking for a way to get inside.
The encounter was filmed during a self-drive safari in South Africa, as reported on What’s The Jam.
