A flight was abandoned at the last moment after several tyres burst during takeoff.
Smoke was seen coming from the wheels on the main gear.
It was later confirmed that all 16 tyres deflated, with some apparently bursting.

The plane was seen accelerating along the runway at high speed before the pilot decided against lifting off.
The jet reached a top speed of 163 knots (188 mph), according to data from Flightradar24.
Despite the incredibly high speed, the plane came to a halt within 18 seconds, with some runway left to spare, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The Sky Lease Cargo plane was taking off from Santiago International Airport in Chile when the flight was aborted.
The 19-year-old Boeing 747-400f, with the registration code N904AR, was bound for Miami, 4,118 miles away.

Sky Lease Cargo reportedly only has two 747s in its fleet.
The emergency services were called to the runway to ensure there was no fire.
The plane has remained on the ground since the aborted takeoff on Saturday (19 Apr).

The cause of the gear issue is currently unconfirmed.
One local said, “What in the hell would cause the crew to abort a takeoff at 160+ knots!”
“Did someone lay a spike strip down on the runway? How does that happen to so many tyres at once?” asked another.
A third added: “Quaint hydraulic braking systems are prone to problems and are out of date; electrical braking systems are much lighter and provide increased safety.”
