Five people had to carry away a huge 16ft anaconda spotted at a bustling tourist spot.
Firefighters said the enormous snake was hiding in a cranny on some concrete steps leading from the main pool to a bar area.
Dozens of tourists were swimming in the water at the time.

The pool area was cleared as a team of firefighters worked on removing the huge snake.
They had to use a sledgehammer to widen the tight space where the anaconda had slithered into.
Using a hook and pole, they managed to safely extract the anaconda.
Three firefighters were helped by two civilians to carry it away.
The snake was said to be 16.4ft (5m) long, as reported by What’s The Jam.

It was captured in Rio Quente located south of Brasilia, Brazil, last Sunday (12 Oct).
The area is a popular destination for Brazilians to relax in the heart of Goiás State’s savannah.
The anaconda was unharmed in the capture and was later released into the wild.

Anacondas are semiaquatic snakes found in tropical regions of South America.
Male anacondas can weigh between 176 and 220lb (80 and 100kg) and females, which are significantly larger, can weigh up to 440lb (200kg) when pregnant.
