A colleague filmed them as they carried the weighty snake across a road towards a car parked on the hard shoulder.
The undaunted men could be heard chuckling as they loaded the serpent into the back of the vehicle and climbed in with it.
The rescue took place in Bolívar, southeast of Caracas, Venezuela, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Local media say the men stumbled upon the reptile while cutting and trimming trees on Sunday (16 Mar).
They decided to take it to a safer area, away from the main road and the patch of woodland under maintenance.
Local media say they drove the serpent to a nearby lake and left it there to ensure it had a better chance of survival.
Local Pablo said: “I wouldn’t get in that Jeep for anything!”

Another joked: “Wow, it’s been a while since I heard from my ex-mother-in-law.”
A third added: “If that thing lets loose inside the car, it’ll swallow them all.”
And a fourth said: “If they saved it, they deserve a round of applause. But I find it hard to believe.”
It is not clear what species of snake it was.
However, green anacondas, yellow anacondas, and boa constrictors are all known to be present in the area.
