A British storm chaser was left blown away by the most spectacular tornado she’d ever seen.
Laura Gaynor got within a few hundred yards of the huge, fearsome twister.
The thrill seeker managed to tail the storm which generated 135mph winds.

She spends a month a year chasing storms across the USA.
And got hooked after she watched the Hollywood movie Twister as a child.
Laura, 40, of Malvern, Worcestershire saw the tornado near Dickens, Nebraska, US.
And she said it was the best tornado she’d seen.
“I went on a tour in 2023 and have been hooked ever since,” she told, What’s The Jam.
“I have been out for four weeks every year since.
“I watched Twister when I was 12 and it’s been a dream for me ever since.
“I have always been fascinated by the weather and Mother Nature.
“I’ve picked up the skill of forecasting, targeting and learning to navigate the storm from one of the best chasers out there.
“The Nebraska tornado is the best I’ve seen.
“It’s hard chasing solo, very few people do it as you need a driver, navigator and someone watching radar and the storm ideally so a team of three normally is the perfect mix.
“But going solo was just a goal I set myself and I was determined to do it.
“The biggest thing people don’t see in storm chasing is the driving involved.
“I’ve done 16 hour days before and over 1,000 miles just to get on the next storm.
I did two solo chases last year and missed the tornadoes by minutes due to losing signal and not being able to read radar and had to back off from baseball sized hail.
“But when you see one like the Nebraska tornado it makes the 8,500 miles and lonely driving time worth it.”
