Two people were spotted romping on a mountaintop by a man testing the zoom on his phone.

The clip was filmed from the window of a high-rise flat overlooking a peak in the distance.

As he films, the person behind the camera zooms in slowly on the mountain

Eventually, two people come into view as they engage in what looks like risqué behaviour on the summit.

The mountain in question is Lion Rock in Hong Kong, which stands at 495 m (1,624 ft).

Locals were baffled by the couple’s X-rated actions.

Others, however, were more surprised by the phone’s zoom power, as reported by What’s The Jam.

One said “Love between men and women is totally normal.

“They could just do it at home. Why do it on Lion Rock?”

Loki asked: “Can a phone actually capture something that far away?

“What model is it?”

And Sarah wondered: “Aren’t they worried that they’ll get so carried away they might fall down the mountain?”

Ouyang said: “How did they know there was something going on there to zoom in on it?”

Under local law, people who commit indecent acts in public places face fines of 2,000 HKD (£193) and up to six months in prison.

And those who publish indecent material can be fined up to 1m HKD (£96,500) and receive up to three years in jail.
