While the average price of a classic pint in the UK now sits at a whopping £4.74, Brits abroad can enjoy a classic portion of fish and chips for just £4.58 at the boozer.
Though, there are some travel costs involved.
The pub is located in Pattaya, Thailand, which has become a staple for travelling Brits looking for a slice of home.
Witherspoons’ meal features a beer-battered cod fillet, the option of chips or french fries, mushy or garden peas accompanied by tartar sauce and a slice of lemon.
You can also pair your classic dish with a large beer for just £2.94 extra.
Comparatively, the meal would cost you £11.14 in a Wetherspoons on UK shores, as reported by What’s The Jam.
“Fridays are made for Fish & Chips,” said the pub.
“Start your weekend with a crispy, golden classic that always hits the spot.”
Witherspoons is also kitted out with 35 TVs, which show live sports all week long.
This isn’t the first time the dupe has caught the attention of Brits abroad.
It was recently applauded for serving a beloved item that was taken off some of the UK pub menus.
Wetherspoons dropped its sirloin steak from the menu in a number of their locations.
But for just £7, fans of the dish could chow down on the meal at Witherspoons.
