Homeware store The Range has once again shut down claims it is named after an actual Orange.
Confused shoppers took to social media to express their findings of a hidden clue in the name, reports What’s The Jam.
They claimed that there was a hidden meaning next to the orange circle with an R in, next to the normal white text.

Sharing a statement online, the company shared a picture of a claim from a customer that said: “So I blew my own mind today.
“I realised that the range has an R in an orange circle as their logo, but I can’t unsee it as saying anything other than orange now?
“Has it been called the orange all along and we’ve not noticed?
“Honestly I am baffled.
“Someone please explain this to me and restore my faith in humanity.”
The store shut down claims and instead stated: “WE SAY IT EVERY YEAR but it’s back in the news again…
“Although we’re a fan of the colour O-RANGE
“We are in fact called The Range. Thank you all for asking.”
And customers were tickled by the exchange.
Heather joked: ”That’s it for me, going forward, I shall name it The Orange.”
Claire said: “I’ve always called it ‘The Range’ but now looking at it, it should be ‘OR The Range’ maybe”
Gary quipped: “Why the heck do people still insist it’s called The Orange, and, if the emblem was the name it would be called OR-Range, since there are two Rs”
Heather commented: “I’d never spotted that. Brilliant.”
Alice said: “Why would anyone call it the Orange? It’s called The Range because it sells a range of products.”
