A sixty-year-old seat from the old Wembley Stadium is being sold for £300

Football fans are being offered the chance to snap up the unique piece of sporting memorabilia.

It dates back to just before the World Cup final which England won at the famous ground in 1966.

Dave Uttley, from Sheffield, is flogging it on eBay.

The blue wooden seat has the number on the back.

The old Wembley – with its famous Twin Towers – was bulldozed in 2000.

The new one – with its iconic arch – opened in 2007

Dave said: “This is an original pre-1960s Wembley Stadium fold-up seat, complete with a stand.

“The seat is perfect for football enthusiasts who want to add a touch of history to their collection.

“The seat is as original as the day it left the stadium in 2000.

“A great addition to any football or sports memorabilia collection.

The seat also comes with a certificate of authentication and has even been insured.

It is described as being in “good” condition.

In November 2023, the FA told off three padded red seats from the royal box of the new stadium for £800, as reported by What’s The Jam.
