Singer Will Young’s 30-year-old car that he was fined while driving is now on sale for a paltry £12,000.
He was in the 1996 Volkswagen Golf GTi Mk3 last year when he was caught using a handheld device in Calne, Wiltshire.
Young later pleaded guilty at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court and was fined £666.

He was also ordered to pay £90 in costs and a £266 surcharge.
He was given six points on his licence but avoided a driving ban because a disqualification would have caused him “exceptional hardship”.
Magistrates were convinced a ban would have had a significant impact on Young’s mental health and affect the charities he supported, as reported by Whats The Jam.
Young has been open about his long-term struggles with mental health, including a diagnosis of PTSD stemming from childhood trauma, alongside battles with depression, anxiety, and various addictions.
He has experienced severe mental health crises, including dissociation and suicidal thoughts, but has actively managed his well-being through therapy and by focusing on bodily regulation.
Despite being 30-years-old, the VW Golf has done just 46,520 miles.
It is described as being well-maintained and presented in good, honest condition throughout.
It goes under the hammer with Iconic Auctioneers on 16 May, at Sywell Aerodrome, Northampton.
