Shoppers are rushing to Sainsbury’s after a new cinnamon bun treat landed on shelves – with some already comparing it to Tesco’s viral bakery sensation.
The supermarket has started stocking House of Cinn Tear & Share Cinnamon Buns, sending sweet-toothed customers into a frenzy.
Food page Newfoodsuk spotted the new arrival, and early reviews suggest it could become the next must-try bakery item.

Some shoppers have even claimed the gooey treat could rival Tesco’s hugely popular Cinnamon Tear & Share Bun, which recently went viral on social media, as reported by Whats The Jam.
Sharing the discovery online, Newfoodsuk wrote: “Tear & Share Cinnamon Bun spotted at Sainsbury’s.”
While the new sharing bun has yet to appear on Sainsbury’s website, several other House of Cinn products are already available online.
The retailer is currently selling individual 100g buns in Classic Cream Cheese, Caramelised Biscuit and Salted Caramel & Pecan flavours for £1.50 each.
At the time of writing, all three varieties were listed as out of stock.

A third person tagged a friend and commented: “Right up our street.”

Others immediately compared the buns to Tesco’s viral favourite.
One shopper asked: “Will it be as good as Tesco’s? Will have to taste to tell.”
House of Cinn first teased the launch on Instagram earlier this month.

The company wrote: “We’ve been sitting on this one for a while and we are so excited to finally share it.
“We’re going bigger in every way – introducing our first ever tear and share tray alongside our classic and salted caramel and pecan buns, now larger than ever (made for sharing, but we won’t tell if you don’t).
“Coming to Sainsbury’s on 16th June.
“Handmade with the same love as always. Just bigger and better than ever.”
