Shoddy paving repairs outside a famous Tracey Emin gallery have been mocked for looking like a wacky piece of modern art.
The square stones have been tarmacked over in straight and diagonal lines.
It is outside Turner Contemporary in Margate, Kent.

The gallery was briefly the home of local artist Emin’s ‘My Bed’ exhibit.
Local Clive Richards joked: “Maybe it’s a new outdoor art installation.”
The work was carried out by UK Power Network, as reported on What’s The Jam.
But Labour councillor Rob Yates fumed at the company: “Please can you come back to Margate and do the job properly.
“This is directly outside of Turner Contemporary art gallery.

“Have some respect.”
Another local David Morgan said: “This is a disgrace.”
Gavin Marten (corr) added: “It really isn’t hard to number the stones when lifted to place back after works are completed.

“However, I bet the stones have been skipped.
“Good luck on them finding identical weathered stones.”
A UK Power Network spokesperson said: “This is just a temporary fix.
“We are awaiting a permit and we also need to ensure we have all the correct materials before we can proceed.”
