A schoolboy was left jumping for joy after landing an astonishing basketball trick shot from 27ft away.
The incredible moment was caught on his family’s Ring doorbell.
Alfie Smith, 11, was practising on his driveway when he decided to attempt a daring backwards, overhead throw towards the hoop.

Footage shows the pint-sized player casually launching the ball behind his head.
He then watched it soar through the air and drop cleanly through the net, leaving him stunned by his own success, as reported by What’s The Jam.
“He was thrilled and so excited when he made the shot,” Alfie’s mum, Ellie Smith, from Wirral, Merseyside, said.
“I hadn’t seen it as I was in the garage.
“But luckily the doorbell camera had captured everything.”
While his dad described this throw as “quite lucky” when it went in, Alfie was ecstatic and immediately rushed inside to ask if anyone had seen it.
Ellie added that Alfie, whose favourite basketball player is LA Lakers star LeBron James, was so proud.
He asked for the video to be shared with family and friends.
