Pret A Manger is expanding across the UK’s transport network with two new shops at motorway service stations.
The roadside openings are expected to create around 15 jobs and strengthen the food chain’s partnership with service station operator Roadchef.
One shop has already welcomed its first customers, while the second is scheduled to open later this month.

Both will offer Pret’s range of sandwiches, salads, hot food, snacks and baked goods, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Menu options include the All-Butter Croissant, Chicken Caesar Bacon Baguette and Posh Cheddar & Pickle Baguette.
Food will be prepared throughout the day in kitchens at each site.
Customers will also be able to order Pret’s organic coffee, teas and iced drinks made by baristas.
Club Pret members will receive 50% off barista-made drinks at both locations for a monthly subscription fee of £5.

The openings form part of a £300m investment Roadchef is making in its motorway service areas over the next five years.
The programme will introduce new retail and catering concepts and support the development of additional sites.
Pret’s first new shop opened at Taunton Deane Southbound Services on the M5, between junctions 25 and 26, on Wednesday (22 July).

The second will open at Clacket Lane Westbound Services on the M25, between junctions 5 and 6, on Tuesday (28 July).
