“The crane was taken down after the incident.
“I was just casually recording one of the shows and it seemed to malfunction.”
An O Beach spokesperson said: “The show incident that occurred on Tuesday was the first in our 12 years of operation and the health and safety of our team and clientele is of utmost importance to us.
“The performer was attended to by medics immediately but did not suffer any injuries and is doing well.
“Although our performer suffered no injuries they have been advised to take a week without performing by our Risk Management and Health Support Department to ensure they have time to recover.”
