A budding model maker is creating a 20ft long, Lego replica of the Titanic…without any plans.
Jack Moore is doing it from memory after looking at photographs.
The 30-year-old – who is autistic – has been building it for the last three years.

It is already 13ft long and lives in the family conservatory.
He needs thousands more pieces to keep constructing the model in Birchington, near Margate, Kent.
But Jack has run out of bricks.
He is asking for people to donate any unwanted ones so he can complete his model.
Proud mum Jane said: “Jack hasn’t had any plans.

“He’s just built it from memory.
“It’s been a real labour of love, but I’m not sure where it’s going to go when completed.”
She also told What’s The Jam: ”He’s done it all by research and memory and no one else has laid a single brick.”

Asked how many bricks he’s used so far, Jane said: “It is tens of thousands.
“But now he’s running out and is asking if anyone has spare bricks to help him carry on.
“He’ll certainly need another few thousand as there’s a lot more to be added including two more funnels.”
She continued: “At the moment there’s only two funnels.
“But if he gets enough bricks there’ll be four, just like the real Titanic.”
Jack got into the Titanic when at school.
He plans to use mini figures to make a tiny Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet from the 1997 Titanic film.
The famous liner sank in 1912 on its maiden voyage after hitting an iceberg.
