The infamous sour cream and chive dip from the fast food chain has been axed – leaving fans in a buying frenzy.
McDonald’s announced its discontinuation on 29 May 2024.
Since then, listings on eBay have flurried, with some flogging their stash for up to £1,100 a pop, reports What’s The Jam.

A clip shared on TikTok, racking up 254,000 views and over 2,000 likes, shows just how many there are.
Fans have taken to the comments to express their frustration.
Leah said: “I’m raging they removed it. It’s the only dip I eat.”
Martin commented: “I’ve got one in my fridge! It’s my retirement dip.”
Emma added: “I’ve got like four in the fridge.”

Other listings ask for £1,000 for a single dip – noting that it’s still in date – with some going for £499.99 that are the “last ones” available.
However, there are some reasonable sellers, with eight of the 40g tubs being flogged for £50.
While the sour cream and chive dip is no more, there are eight new items which have been added to the menu.
There’s a garlic mayo dip, sweet and smoky BBQ dip, as well as a nine chicken select share box and a Skittles McFlurry.
