McDonald’s customers have been left gutted after the fast food giant quietly axed a fan favourite burger from menus.
The chain has removed the McSpicy from restaurants across the UK, with diners taking to social media to complain about the decision.
Many said the burger had become one of their go-to menu items and begged for other discontinued favourites to return.

The McSpicy first launched in the UK in 2021 and featured a spicy chicken breast fillet topped with lettuce and mayo inside a sesame seed bun.
McDonald’s regularly rotates menu items throughout the year, with limited-time burgers often disappearing after promotional runs.
Fans flooded Reddit with reactions after realising the McSpicy was no longer available.
One person wrote: “I’m still waiting for my one true love, the chicken legend to come back on the menu. The McSpicy doesn’t even compare.”
Another person said: “Holy s***! I got a McSpicy yesterday and didn’t clock that! I have a low spice tolerance but love McSpicy and was visibly upset when I didn’t sweat after consuming it.”
A third person wrote: “I agree. Pour one out for the McSpicy.”
Someone else added: “Bring back the McChicken Legend. The Spicy Mayo and the Salsa ones. Christ.”
McDonald’s confirmed the burger had been removed from menus.
