A hiker has been slammed by ‘Karens’ for skipping a queue to reach the mountain summit on Snowdon.
Marc Screeton faced a number of dirty looks and spiteful comments after he decided to skip the huge queue at the top of the mountain.
Having just completed the five-hour trek, the 27-year-old decided there was no chance he was going to wait longer to see the peak.

One woman even shouted at someone to ‘chuck his phone off’ the mountain.
“I don’t think you should be queuing up in nature on a mountain; it’s the same as queuing up at a bar,” Marc, from Manchester, told Whats The Jam.
“People naturally see a queue so they decide to join it – it’s a very British thing, isn’t it.
“I just wanted to touch the top quickly and get back down.
“I haven’t endangered anyone or ‘shoved or barged’ past anyone; I did wait until it was clear to head up and touch the top.”

The video was taken by the warehouse operative on 8 Aug during a hike up Snowdon, in Snowdonia, Wales.
As the popularity of hiking increases, the huge queues at the top of the mountain have extended.
Many Brits wait for over an hour just to get a selfie at the peak of Snowdon – which sits at 3,560ft above sea level.

Despite only wanting to touch the top and head back down, Marc was slammed by a group of Karens who glared at him from the queue.
In the clip, you can hear them shouting ‘there’s a queue, you know’, ‘it’s out of order’, and also a comment from a woman inciting people to ‘chuck’ his phone off.
Marc said: “I had a few people who had done the same thing, saying they did what I did just to be able to touch the top and get back down.
“So it wasn’t just me that did it that afternoon; I just happened to have a video of it.
“I would say nine out of ten people are in agreement with me and are actually being really sound, but there are a couple of people hurling insults.
“I’m not really too bothered, as they are just words that someone has said on the internet.”
