Pia Harpur, the visionary behind Studio Pia, entered the fashion realm with a mission to redefine luxury lingerie through ethical designs.

She identified a void in the market for pieces that were both opulent and morally conscious.

Since its inception in 2017, Studio Pia has garnered international acclaim, gracing the shelves of exclusive boutiques in a dozen countries.

However, the brand’s trajectory is poised for significant growth following its acquisition by the renowned global investment firm Inc & Co.

The strategic agenda involves broadening Studio Pia’s reach through wholesale channels, pop-up shops, global concessions, and premium third-party websites.

Pia will retain her leadership position, collaborating with Inc & Co to enhance the brand’s visibility and extend its global influence.

Describing the move as a “brand rebirth,” she expressed enthusiasm for the forthcoming chapter in Studio Pia’s journey.

Reflecting on the past seven years of brand-building, Pia emphasized the opportune moment for leveraging Inc & Co’s expertise to propel Studio Pia to new heights.

Anticipating the partnership to unlock previously inaccessible avenues, she envisions reaching a broader audience that resonates with the brand’s commitment to ethical luxury and individuality.

Pia looks forward to the collaboration’s potential to showcase Studio Pia in prestigious locations and facilitate enhanced in-person shopping experiences. Furthermore, with Inc & Co’s backing, Studio Pia will undergo a brand refresh and website relaunch to enrich its digital presence.

The future also holds the promise of a new collection in Autumn/Winter 2024, featuring revamped iterations of beloved designs.

Pia perceives the collaboration as a revitalization of the brand, reinforcing their dedication to ethical luxury on a global scale.

Originating in 2016, her venture stemmed from a six-year stint in luxury lingerie.

As a lifelong vegetarian, she aimed to pioneer the first lingerie label using cruelty-free, organic peace silk, crafting pieces that challenge conventional notions of ethical fashion aesthetics.

Despite the acquisition by Inc & Co, the company’s ethos remains steadfast. Inc & Co endeavors to elevate industry standards through the acquisition, providing customers unprecedented access to Studio Pia’s offerings through new outlets and online platforms.

Jack Mason, CEO of Inc & Co, views the collaboration as a pivotal moment in the company’s retail expansion, highlighting the retention of Studio Pia’s management equity.

Customers’ affinity for Studio Pia’s environmentally conscious lingerie is evident, and I’m enthusiastic about extending the brand’s reach globally.

Our internal commercial and finance teams will collaborate closely with Studio Pia, enabling them to concentrate on their forte: crafting exceptional luxury lingerie.

I look forward to collaborating with Pia and her team as we embark on this new phase, upholding the ethical values that laid the foundation for this inspiring venture.
