Just one day after police released a mugshot that looked distinctly like Rylan Clark, another snap has left the internet confused.

This time, it’s a computer-generated picture of a man the police are looking for, in connection with a burglary.

Users on X have pinpointed a few ‘suspects’ of their own – pointing out similarities to Elon Musk, Professor Brian Cox, and Jay from The Inbetweeners.

A police spokesperson said: “The incident happened at around 5pm on Thursday 11 April 2024 at an address in Eridge Road, near Broadwater Lane.

“A 90-year-old homeowner heard the intruder upstairs after returning to the house from her front garden.

“When confronted, it is alleged the man claimed he was a police officer before leaving the property empty-handed.

“Investigators are now seeking help to identify the suspect.

“The man is described as white and around five feet five inches tall, with an average build and short dark hair.

“He is thought to be in his 30s and may have a front tooth missing at the top.

“He was wearing dark coloured trousers and a white, short-sleeved, round-necked T-shirt, which was described as dirty, at the time of the incident.”

Kent Police are appealing for nearby residents with doorbell cameras or CCTV to check for any important footage, as well as drivers with dashcams who may have been in the area.
