The infamous Karen’s Diner chain has been slammed for hosting a Katie Hopkins’ ‘take-over’ night for £40 per head.

The controversial commentator will make a guest appearance at Karen’s Diner venues in Manchester and Birmingham.

The retro restaurant chain is well-known for training its staff to be rude to customers.

Ahead of her ‘Silly Cow’ tour, Hopkins is set to appear at the viral eatery.

Karen’s Diner said: “Who’s coming for a guest appearance at Karen’s Manchester and Birmingham?”

They added: “A bit like our Karens, she’s divisive, opinionated, brash and offensive… all of the qualities we admire.”

Wonderland Events, who are hosting the Manchester take-over said: “Ahead of her ‘Silly Cow Tour’, Katie Hopkins takes over Karen’s Diner for an evening of madness with Katie and our Karens.

”This is a pairing not for the faint-hearted or easily offended.”

”Your ticket will include a table for ‘Katie’s Bats**t Bonkers Britain’ show, some infamous Karen’s entertainment and we’ll even throw in a burger meal too!”

However, diners have been left outraged by the chain’s choice of host after Hopkin’s came under recent fire for mocking Kate Garraway following the death of her husband, Derek Draper.

Hayley Mahon said: “What the hell are you thinking?”

Another diner, called Bob, fumed: “I don’t know who’s scraping the barrel more here, but her career is clearly in the toilet.”

Ann-Marie Arnott said: “Karen’s diner just gone down in my estimation. Screams of desperation.”

Gail Robinson said: “This is awful.

”They’ve really not thought this through have they.”

However, other customers were left in stitches at the announcement.

Jason Scott Robinson admitted he would love to be roasted by Katie Hopkins.

He said: “Iconic.

”I’d pay to be torn a new one by Katie Hopkins any day of the week.

”What a legend!”
