The scene was described as “pure chaos”.
One customer waited in line for three hours to buy the gift box of cards.
“I got in line at 7.30 am and didn’t get in until 10.30 am when the shop opened,” they told What’s The Jam.
“It was pure chaos and not very civilised.”
The gift box will set fans back £62.38.
One person said, “They should have someone giving out one per person to make it fair for everyone.”
Another viewer added: “What in the Costco rant is going on?”
A third person said, “Sad.”
Someone else added, “This is so sad, straight to eBay for three times as much, and the kids that want it for Christmas can forget it.”
Costco has been approached for comment.
