Britain’s biggest Doctor Who fan has made an army of his own Daleks – and they regularly invade the streets.
Mark Casto has built four lifesize versions of the iconic TV baddies and has another in the pipeline.
It takes the 66-year-old about six months to create each one.

But it’s a labour of love for the former graphic designer who has been a Doctor Who superfan since the first episode was broadcast in 1963.
“I use them for charity events with Emmaus the homeless charity – and for scaring the locals,” Mark, of Ditchingham, near Norwich, Norfolk, said.
“I’ve got four now and will be working on my fifth one soon.
“It takes about six months to make one from scratch but that depends on the type of Dalek.”
Mark said the structures can be operated from inside, just like the ones used on TV.

He said: “People love them and often stop to have their picture taken with them.

“I used to be a graphic designer and I am a cartoonist.

“But I’ve been a fan of the show since the first episode.”
The Daleks were conceived by writer Terry Nation and first appeared in the 1963 Doctor Who serial The Daleks.
They are the series’ most popular and famous villains and their battle cry “Exterminate!” has become a catchphrase.
Mark also told What’s The Jam: “I’ve just completed my fourth Dalek – a blue Dalek Oracle.
“I’ve made a black one and silver one and a red one.
“I started last April and then became completely obsessed by them.
“But I think I’m okay now, maybe.”
