A university student was left horrified after accidentally flooding her entire accommodation block when she returned from a night out and forgot to turn her bathroom tap off.
Frankie Louise Jeffs, 20, woke up to frantic banging on her door after water began pouring out from underneath it and flooding the fourth floor of her student accommodation, as reported by Whats The Jam.
The student admitted the tap had been running for more than six hours while she slept after returning home from a night out.

Frankie said: “I came back from a night out and left my tap on in my bathroom after getting ready for bed.
“I didn’t realise until I heard banging on my door at around 12pm.
“My flatmates had thought something bad had happened to me because they saw water coming out my door and heard the tap running.”
The tap is believed to have been left running from around 5.30am until midday.
Videos shared online showed huge amounts of water covering the floor of her room as panicked flatmates attempted to rescue belongings from the flood.
Frankie admitted she was initially too stunned to process what had happened.
She said: “I was in absolute shock, I couldn’t even fathom how it had happened and it took me ages to get my head around it.
“I was shouting ‘oh my god’ for about 20 minutes before I started to realise that I was about to be in a lot of trouble.”
A cleaning company was later called in to tackle the flood using industrial water vacuums and drying fans.
Frankie said: “The reception called a cleaning company who came in with water hoovers and my flatmate was helping me grab my stuff to move it into another room.
“After hoovering all the water up they had an industrial fan which dried the room out over the space of around 24 hours.”
After posting the ordeal online, Frankie said reactions were mixed, with some viewers sympathising while others mocked the blunder.
The video went viral, being viewed 295,000 times, with 18,100 times and having 104 comments.
