Balenciaga has been ridiculed for selling a bag that looks like a SHIRT.
The wacky accessory is part of its newly unveiled Spring 25 Collection.
The Garde Robe Shirt Bag has a hole in the neck to create the handle.
The body of the shirt is sealed but it has the two long-sleeved arms flapping at the sides.
A similar looking shirt is on sale on the trendy fashion house’s website for £1,190
It sells a Tote bag which is the same size for £1,090.
The production description reads: “Garde Robe Shirt Bag.
“Carry from the shoulder, mini check poplin, button closure.
“Leather lining, silver hardware, Spring 25 Collection.”
The new range was unveiled yesterday (30 May).
But fashion fans were quick to poke fun at the bag, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Karina Schultze said: “Looks like the invisible man.”
Jules said: “Cant wait for the bag bag.”
Another sarcastically added: “Close minded people can stay mad.”
Yet Eric Brain said: “This is phenomenal.”
Balenciaga is known for its wacky designs.
Last November, it started selling a skirt that looked like a towel wrapped around the wearer for £695.
The fashion line is popular with A-listers like Kim Kardashian and footballers like Jack Grealish.
Yet it faced a backlash in 2022 for using kids and bondage bears in an ad campaign.
