Aldi has launched a new Terry’s Chocolate Orange-style treat – and shoppers say it is “proper good quality”.
The budget supermarket is selling bags of Choceur Orange Chocolate Slices for £1.29.
The 105g bags contain individual milk chocolate segments made using real orange oil.

A popping-candy variety is also available for the same price, giving the classic chocolate-and-orange combination an added fizz, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Both products are suitable for vegetarians and come in brightly coloured packaging.
Aldi describes the treats as offering “a zesty taste of Christmas in every segment”.

The products have already been compared to Terry’s Chocolate Orange by snack reviewer @johns_snackreviews.
Sharing his review online, he said: “They’re good quality orange chocolate and you can proper taste the orange oil.

“They’re obviously Terry’s chocolate orange dupes.”
Despite the familiar format, other chocolate fans were eager to get their hands on the new treats.
Commenting on the review, one person said: “Running to Aldi now! Love a chocolate orange.”

The regular Orange Chocolate Slices are pictured as smooth, rounded segments, similar to pieces broken from a traditional chocolate orange.
Meanwhile, the popping-candy version comes in blue, pink and orange packaging and promises an extra crackle with every bite.
The bags could also provide an easier option for sharing than having to whack a full chocolate orange against a table before peeling it apart.
The Choceur Orange Chocolate Slices and Popping Candy Orange Chocolate Slices are listed on Aldi’s website for £1.29 each, although availability may vary between stores.
