On closer inspection, the 42-year-old realised they were in fact paw marks exposing a “rat highway”.

“When I saw them I knew immediately what they were since the rats grace me with their presence every time I’m walking around at night.”
Ashley, a comedian, captured the footage while out on an early morning dog walk on 16 Feb.
The light dusting of snow exposed how active rats are in her neighbourhood overnight.
After posting the clip online, the video racked up an impressive 53,700 likes and was flooded with mixed reactions from viewers.
Ashley said: “I felt like a scientist collecting data but like, for TikTok.
“I don’t know if that’s sad but it’s true.
“These are the times we live in.
“People seemed to think they were cute but some people were horrified.
“New Yorkers as well as the rest of the country are desperate for this type of lighthearted content to take their minds off the atrocities being committed by our government.”
