A woman has gone viral sharing a clip of herself crying yellow-coloured tears.
Lekeisha Christobel Pillay was shocked to see the bizarre coloured moisture coming from her eyes during a tearful moment.
The 18-year-old started recording, sharing the moment on TikTok, where it garnered 93 million views and eight million likes.
While viewers were baffled, Lekeisha soon realised the cause – she had an eye appointment earlier in the week, where an ‘ointment’ was put in her eye, causing the colour change.

“It didn’t hurt or feel uncomfortable, it was just shocking,” the student, from South Africa, told What’s The Jam.
“Now I know why my tears were yellow – from an eye appointment a few days earlier.
“They had placed an ointment in my eye, but I was not warned that my tears could turn yellow.”
In the clip, Lekeisha can be seen looking up and crying, as yellow-tinged tears fall down her face.
She then looks at the camera completely shocked.
She can be heard saying: “Bro what the f**k.
“Why am I crying yellow.
“What the f**k, I am crying yellow.”
