A shopper was left horrified after purchasing second-hand trainers online – only for them to arrive covered in “dog poo”.
Incredibly, the Vinted seller didn’t deny the claims, with a picture of one of the shoes appearing to show chunks of mud or faeces on the sole.
Sharing the message exchange on social media after receiving the trainers, the buyer wrote: “They are covered in dog poo????

“This is absolutely f***ing gross.
“My house now stinks and my elderly mum who is very vulnerable hasn’t stopped wretching because of the horrific smell.
“You stated they were very good condition.”
Shockingly, the seller didn’t appear to deny it, responding: “Sorry about that completely 4got to wash b4 sending.”
To add insult to injury, they also offered some rather unwelcome advice: “Leave out in sun to dry then chip it off with knife shud be fine x again sorry about that.”
The fuming customer replied: “No I won’t be going anywhere near them.
“I want a full refund, I’ll be posting them to your address tomorrow.”
In a bizarre twist, the seller then explained they were in Benidorm for the fortnight for a friend’s “divorce party”, adding: “Holiday mode on now.”
The exchange – which features on What’s The Jam – has gone viral on social media, garnering 13,000 likes.
Viewers described it as “foul” and “insane”.
One user commented: “That’s absolutely disgusting. How do you forget to clean something like that!?”
“The seller would have been completely aware of this as well whilst taking the pictures of them to sell,” another viewer pointed out.
Another person said: “‘Holiday mode on’ thug life.”
“So many layers to this,” another viewer said.
Someone else added: “The fact that they knew is crazy.”
“This has to be a lie this can’t be true surely,” said another user.
One person added: “I just can’t imagine fing packaging sht covered shoes.”
“I refuse to believe these are real,” another horrified viewer said.
Someone else commented: “Vinted is one hell of an app.”
“Nooo,” another person said.
“THE FACT IT’S STILL WET,” pointed out another user.
