And this includes their own wardrobes, with the duo infuriating fans in a recent viral video with over 7.9m views, sharing just how much they spend on socks, as reported by What’s The Jam.
In the TikTok, Liam and James can be seen walking into a well-known upscale men’s clothing store called Budd London, dressed in suits and holding designer bags.
They have a private appointment with their sock maker and share their needs before carefully going through the options.
Liam and James look at different colours and designs, before explaining that they want something for a gala or when they go horse riding.
The sock maker then suggests the ‘perfect pair’ – knee-length cashmere socks.
Liam and James then explain that they usually only get two wears out of this design of sock due to the cashmere splitting.
After much deliberation, they decide on 20 black pairs each, costing £125 per set.
This means the duo spent £5,000 on 40 pairs of socks altogether.
“Come with us to buy some socks,” the video was captioned. It has gathered over 445,000 likes, as well as 7,300 comments from angry users.
