A British man has left the internet divided after sharing his budget full English breakfast cooking hack.
It’s a staple meal and beloved by many, but Steve Devereux’s approach has caused a stir.
Instead of cooking each of the foods separately and compiling it on the plate, the 47-year-old opts for a rather haphazard assembly – chopping his ingredients and chucking them together onto slices of toast to airfry.

While he claims it saves time – and money, using cheap ingredients – TikTokkers aren’t convinced, with the video garnering 2.5 million views and leading viewers to call it a “crime”.
“Some love what I do, some hate it,” Steve, a technical manager in food manufacturing from North East England, told What’s The Jam of his divisive method.
In the video, Steve begins with the staple items: sausages, bacon, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes.
He chops everything up into small pieces, and then lays out two slices of toasted bread onto a chopping board.
Steve then takes a spoon and smears all of the mashed up breakfast ingredients onto his toast.

After completely covering each slice, he whacks them in the airfryer and when cooked, adds a fried egg on the top.
In the clip, Steve revealed that the hack was great for those mornings when you fancy a Full English, but don’t have the energy to make one.
And he insists it doesn’t scrimp on taste.

He added: “It tasted amazing, my son Jack tasted it and he loved it.
“The three sausages were £1.25, the bacon £0.50, toast £0.20, mushrooms £0.25, and the tomatoes were £0.10.”
But the time-saving method proved controversial online.
Some viewers dubbed him ‘creative’, while others were far from impressed with the breakfast idea.
One user, Bethany, wrote: “I’m mortified.”
Ryan commented: “I really want to hate this , but I’m already convincing the mrs to have it for breakfast tomorrow.”
“This is a crime,” said a third user.
Someone else added: “When people make food like this, are they not scared that the meat is not cooked all the way through?”
“So… I’m the only one who thinks this is a good idea… fine,” wrote someone else.
Steve said of the response: “I expected it to get a mixed reaction – most of my ideas do.”
“Putting the raw meat onto toast is always going to get a mixed reaction, even though it was fully cooked in the end.”
