Singer Ludacris has shocked fans after drinking water directly from a glacier – with some worried he will get an ‘ancient disease.’

The rapper and actor was visiting Alaska when he stopped for a drink.

But the practice is reportedly dangerous – with frozen parasites and bacteria often in the ice.

The 46-year-old, from Champaign, Illinois, shared a video of the moment with his 19 million followers.

In the clip, Ludacris can be seen looking at the camera, holding a water bottle and stood in front of ice water.

He says: “Listen man, half the world’s glaciers are here in Alaska.

“I couldn’t come here and just have a show.“

You know I got a bucket list or as I like to call it, the f**k it list.

“I’ve never tasted fresh, glacial water ever in my life.“ And this is a first.”

He then submerges his black water bottle into the clear water, before taking a big gulp.

He says: “Oh my god!” before running behind the camera.Ludacris captioned the video:

“Water, so good it tastes like GOD made it. Well, because he did,” which has gathered over 15.1 million views, 989,000 likes and 12,700 comments from fans.

But some were left worried.

One person said: “Bro gon discover some ancient disease.”
