A 57-year-old man has gone viral on Instagram, with viewers struggling to believe his youthful looks are natural.
Edson Brandao, from the Netherlands, shared pictures of himself now, compared to how he looked at 35, claiming to be completely natural.
The author looks incredibly youthful in the clip – which garnered over 600,000 views online – leading viewers to suggest he had either had plastic surgery, was heavily filtered, or was using AI.

One user even commented that he looks “more plastic than Ken”, while others guessed his age to be nearly three decades younger than it is.
In the post, Edson shares an image of him now with a caption over the top saying: “Does energy decrease with age?”
He then shows a picture of him at 35, posing in a pair of swimming shorts on holiday, followed by a selection of pictures of him now, looking visibly slimmer and incredibly smooth-skinned.
But rather than commenting on his question about energy levels – with recent shots showing Edson at the beach and on a hike – viewers were distracted by his appearance.
One person commented: “100k in plastic surgery and Botox will have that effect.”
Another user, Hendrik, said: “Bro looks like he’s AI-generated or some s**t.”
Felix wrote: “Botox experiment.”
Nicol guessed: “Wow photoshop and AI retouching.”
Rez wrote: “Skinwalker ahh look.”
Soleil added: “Bro is AI-generated.”
Milena commented: “Bro’s more plastic than Ken.”
But Edson was quick to shoot down the claims, saying he is “pure natural” – with “no filters, no plastic surgery, no Botox, and no makeup”.
He captioned the follow-up post: “Confidently embracing 57!
“Just the natural glow of authenticity!
“Celebrating the real life that comes with living healthy, happy and always looking at the bright side of life.
“This makes you look younger inside out.”
Viewers continued to comment on his appearance.
One fan said: “You’re a beacon of positivity and health at 57!”
Smithy added: “Showing us that age is just a number when you’re living your truth!”
Sinan commented: “You look 28-30.”
David wrote: “Living proof that happiness and health are the keys to staying young at heart!”
Edson often shares health tips and workout routines with his 63,000 followers, saying he is exploring a “world of well-being”.
