A woman holding the Guinness World Record for world’s largest mouth has shocked an onlooker after demonstrating how she can fit a wine bottle inside.
Samantha Ramsdell has previously made headlines thanks to her eye-catching grin, with a mouth that can open to 2.56 inches (6.52 cm) and stretch to 4.07 inches (10.33 cm) – winning her the ‘Largest Mouth Gape’ and ‘Widest Mouth’ records.

The 34-year-old boasts 3.8 million followers on social media, where she posts funny pictures and videos relating to her unique look.

A recent post on Instagram taken during a trip to Florence, Italy went viral as Samantha was snapped with the bottom of a bottle of wine in her mouth.
Behind her, a local can be seen in visible shock, with wide eyes and his own mouth open at the sight.
Samantha – who has previously had to defend the legitimacy of her gape – clarified: “Believe it or not this is not AI.”
The post, which features on What’s The Jam, garnered 42,000 likes and left fans in hysterics.
One person commented: “I can’t tell if he is impressed or horrified.”

“Definitely beyond impressed… dudes been waiting for this kind of show his whole career,” another user relied.
Someone else joked that Samantha’s partner is a “lucky guy”.
Another viewer wrote: “Not me sitting at my desk opening my mouth to see if I think this is possible.”

“Do your teeth fold back for this?” one person asked, to which another user replied: “Yep she is a transformer.”
Samantha herself joked she is “part python”.
One follower called the feat “true talent”, while another called it “insane”.
While it is not clear how large the bottle in question was, the average 75cl wine bottle has a diameter of around 3 inches (7.5cm).
Despite proudly embracing her unique look now, Samantha hasn’t always been so accepting of her quirks.
“It’s so cool that something I’ve been self-conscious of and made fun of for my entire life has now become a super power for me,” the record holder, from Maine, US, previously told What’s The Jam.
“It feels amazing.
“Of course I get a lot of hate, and a lot of mean comments about my appearance [saying] I’m ugly, gross, scary.
“But I also get a lot of people that say it’s inspiring to see someone take something that might be seen as negative or unique about me and turn it into a positive.
“I hope it does motivate others to embrace what makes them special and not try to change it to fit in with societal norms.”
