A self-taught makeup artist has shared her incredible – and terrifying – makeup transformations.

From film favourites to devilish clowns, online influencer Roligore has created a whole host of characters for her 488,000 followers.

The 31-year-old horror lover spends six to seven hours on her makeup transformations.

And this year she has taken on characters from the Tim Burton classic Beetlejuice.

“I’ve always enjoyed horror – I like how the creativity behind it makes things look realistic and keeps the audience interested,” Roligore, from Hampshire, told What’s The Jam.

“I think that’s just transferred into the makeup I do.

“I have so many I like, but I suppose my large-mouth look would be my favourite.

“A look typically can take around six to seven hours, but sometimes longer if I make a mistake.

“The longest I’ve spent on a look is 18 hours, but that did include prep time.

“That was for a Five Nights At Freddy’s character a couple of years ago.”

To recreate Beetlejuice’s Rob, a zombie played by Nick Kellington, Roligore uses liquid latex to change her face shape, before applying makeup to resemble a dull, zombie-like skin tone.

She uses fake large eyeballs, a green wig and a pinstripe blazer, complete with Bob’s nametag.

In another video, she transforms into Lydia Deetz, Beetlejuice’s best friend, whose look is highly inspired by gothic style.

Creating bold black eyebrows, smoky red eyeshadow and heavily contoured cheekbones, Roligore dons a black wig and finishes off the look with a red dress and veil.

But one of her more chilling looks was based on a monster-like creature with a gigantic mouth.

Using liquid latex to elongate her jaw, Roligore painted the entire area black and added false teeth.

She then painted the rest of her face a dark yellowy colour and placed thick black circles of paint around her eyes.

Some of her other looks see her transform into a creepy looking dog and a killer clown.

Roligore has been practising makeup for 10 years after breaking her leg during a football game left her with lots of time on her hands.

Her love for horror drove her to learn how to use SFX makeup.

It took her around two to three years to really progress her skills.

As well as liquid latex and paint, she also finds spirit gum and Vaseline to be useful when creating her looks.

Her followers regularly praise her amazing skills while admitting that some of her creations are petrifying.

Jennie said: “How do you sleep at night peacefully after you make something like these?”
