“On seeing all the debris on the front porch and bricks everywhere, she was concerned about the structure, but also about the safety of the driver.”
Shayne, from Arkansas, US, claimed the driver was “passed out” when taking a look at the damage from the crash on 18 November 2024.
It’s believed that the driver veered off the road, crossed a football field and went through two chain link fences.
After crossing another street, the car went through Shayne’s 8ft privacy fence, before crashing into their home.
He claims that costs to repair the damage could up to a whopping $50,000 (USD) (£39,460).
In the clip, Shayne can be seen walking around the home while showing the damage.
He reveals the porch, with loose bricks and hanging wood.
The wreckage has been left completely smashed and written off.
Everywhere is covered in rubble and dirt, as firefighters try to rummage through the scene.
Shayne also goes around to the back of the house to show the broken fence where the car entered.
He captioned the post: “A driver passed out and hit my house this afternoon.”
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions.
Shelley said: “Good lord! He must have been flying! I’m so glad no one was hurt!”
Someone else wrote: “Your calmness is AMAZING. I could never.”
Jamie commented: “This literally looks like a set up scene at Universal. I’m so sorry this happened Shane!”
Garrett added: “Brother I’m so sorry. You really are going through it.”
Linda said: “I’m very sorry this happened, important thing is you guys are okay… I hope other person involved is okay too.”
He added: “The property adjacent to our house is one of our Airbnbs.
“We will have to get it ready to go again as the holidays are coming up.
“We have lots of guests wanting to spend Christmas and Thanksgiving in our pirate house Airbnb.
“Fortunately, it’s only a bit of damage and debris in the yard.
“Repairing the fence to get that one going should only take a couple days.”
