If you’re willing to cough up thousands for a drink, then you’re in luck – as the “most expensive bottle of water ”in the UK has gone up for sale at an eye-watering price.
The beverage, which hails from a polar iceberg, contains “extremely low mineral content” that is of the “highest purity” – making its £7,332 price tag slightly more bearable.
For the price of a car, or even a small house deposit, you’ll be able to enjoy 750ml – enough for three glasses – of the premium liquid.
The listing description reads: “Harvested, melted and bottled in the arctic outpost of Longyearbyen, Svalbarði iceberg water is an exclusive fine water.

“With no nitrates or pollutants, the extremely low minerality ensures a light mouthfeel with a light bite and a slight sweetness.
“Svalbarði is an experience for the palate, similar to fine wine.
“With its unique terroir, our pure water is also the perfect complement to delicate dishes, pralines or drinks to enhance the taste.
“Iceberg water is among the rarest in the world due to the difficulty of collecting this arctic water.

“Svalbarði is the world’s northernmost mineral water and is recognised by the Fine Water Society as the best-tasting super low mineral water in the world.

Sold by Fine Liquids, a UK-based company that specialises in premium waters from around the world, also has other options if the price is too much.

Their cheapest bottle, Rosbacher mineral water, comes in at a budget-friendly £1, and is natural mineral water from the Taunus region in Germany.
It’s extracted from a “natural source” deep within a mountain where it’s been protected from “external influences”.
In short, it sounds like a much better way to spend £1 than a chocolate bar.
If you do want to buy the Svalbarði still water, however, you’ll have to be quick as there’s only one bottle left in stock.
Pat Eckert, the owner of Watersommelier Fine Liquids, told What’s The Jam: “Iceberg water is really special.
“When the brand we have on sale stopped producing, the stock that was left sold out in a few days. The bottle we have is, therefore, a rare collectable.
“The price is not just for the water – it is for the very last available ‘polar night’ bottle, which is a rare collector’s item. Only a few of them were ever made.
“Most of us might not be familiar with collecting water bottles, but there is a market for them.”
