An influencer decided to cover himself from head to toe in dozens of lizards to create an “iguana blanket”.
Stackz, an influencer, decided to cover himself in 100 of the large lizards, while lying down in a car park.
Snugly hidden under the reptiles, he remarks in the video: “Now I feel like I’m 100°F.”

The 32-year-old’s moment of inspiration came from the fact he already had many of the creatures – which are very common where he is based in Florida, US and considered a pest – but was unsure what to do with them.
“We had a little over 100 iguanas so I just had the random thought to make a blanket out of them ‘Florida Man’ style,” Stackz told What’s the Jam.

“The iguanas got a little heavy for sure by the end of the video.
“I have a big love for iguanas, being that they’ve quite literally helped change my life, as crazy as that sounds.”
The Floridian’s video, titled “the world’s first Iguana blanket”, was viewed over 10.9m times across social media, with 714,000 likes and 6784 comments.

Stackz emphasised that the iguanas, while not moving in the video, were simply resting to conserve energy and were not dead.
One person said: “I just wanna know when and how this idea was sparked.”

Another user asked: “Are they warming you or are you warming them??”

And a fifth viewer added: “The one on the beanie, tho.”
