A former couple has celebrated their divorce TOGETHER.
Iury Maia and Barbara Benjamin first started dating in 2012 and they tied the knot two years later.
The couple then welcomed a son into the world before their relationship hit the rocks and they decided to split in 2018.
Iury and Barbara signed their divorce papers in 2021, but due to “bureaucratic problems”, they only received official confirmation on 26 June.

They have shocked friends with their closeness and maturity.
The pair, from Ceará State, Brazil, posed for snaps with their divorce certificate.
They said they get along better now than they ever did while in a romantic relationship.
Barbara now has a new partner.
Iury explained: “We live much better as friends than we did when married.

“The split was due to several reasons, several coexistence problems.
“Today, we joke, make coffee, have dinners, celebrate birthdays and barbecues together.
“I love her boyfriend, he’s a good person who treats our son very well.”

Iury stated: “When I got the certificate, I said ‘finally my freedom from evil is in my hands.”
“I made a spontaneous video that I posted on Instagram.
“We get along very well and have a good relationship because of our son.
“I visit my son every day.”
He added: “We chose this kind of relationship to raise our son well and have peace of mind.”
The ex-couple said they plan to celebrate their divorce in style after receiving an invitation from a local restaurant.
As well as holding interviews with local media outlets, Iury shared several Instagram posts that went viral with thousands of views and comments.
One pal said: “I already said it, the best ex couple.”
Brenna said: “Great that you take it so lightly.
“Kudos to you, God bless.”
Rose remarked: “I’ve never seen so much joy from both parties.”
Clara joked: “If you knew you were going to be famous for divorcing, you would have split up before!”
Leo commented: “I did my celebration six months ago as well.”
