A man has been saved after having a kip in a very strange spot.
The gentleman in question, who has not been named, was spotted apparently sleeping on the top of a lamp post.
He had strategically hooked his body to the post and even brought a blanket along.

In the footage, the man’s body can be seen hunched over in what looks like an extremely uncomfortable position.
A large rescue team work to get him down as stunned locals watch on.
The lamp post is located on an intersection with busy traffic.
The incident took place in the morning of 14 November.
Reports of the strange event reached authorities at around 7.30am, as reported by What’s The Jam.

The man remained at the top of the post for around an hour, before being brought back down to the ground.
In images, firefighters use an elevator arm to reach him.
The man is then transported to a hospital to be checked for any potential injuries.

He has been identified as a 30-year-old Venezuelan citizen.
The event occurred between Pedro Gamboni Street and Salvador Allende Avenue, in Iququie, Chile.
It has been alleged that the same citizen had been under arrest on 11 November.
On that occasion, he was accused of home invasion after he’d climbed onto the roof of a church in the area.
